'Relax, Release' is a mantra that reminds us to soften the shoulders, unclench the jaw, and settle into the present moment. This original canvas painting was born from a personal practice of patience and the slow, often difficult process of letting go of control.
 
In the wake of life’s biggest challenges, finding the ability to unwind is an act of bravery. This painting captures that transition from the tight grip of anxiety to the fluid grace of acceptance.
 
'Relax, Release' became my daily affirmation as I navigated my recovery and returned to therapy. This piece is about the surrender required to trust oneself again. You can see it in the brushwork: the structured, vibrant peonies at the top gradually give way to misty, ethereal strokes at the base. It represents the moment we stop fighting the current and finally allow ourselves to float.
