In case we haven't met yet...

Hi there, I’m Carolyn. But you can call me Caz.

Thank you for being here and for wanting to know the heart behind my art.

Truth is... When I was young, I didn't know how to be soft.

As a child, I never learned how to ask for help. I built emotional walls, tucked my feelings away, and shaped myself into someone who was “strong” in all the ways I thought I was meant to be.

I wore all black (well, I still do), listened to heavy metal, and lived in a world where femininity felt foreign… maybe even weak.

Pink was a colour I avoided, softness was something I didn’t understand, and florals were certainly not part of my story back then.

But life has a way of gently guiding us home to ourselves.

Years later, when I entered the world of fashion as a textile designer, everything began to shift slowly.

Designing prints for Australian womenswear and swimwear brands (flowing dresses, colourful resort pieces, bold swim prints) exposed me to a universe of colour, movement, and expressive femininity.

For the first time, softness didn’t feel like weakness. It felt like freedom.

Working with florals every day changed something in me.

Colour cracked open the armour I didn’t know I was still wearing.

Joy found its way back in.

And little by little, I began dressing myself differently, too! I was starting to add colour and embrace playful prints, choosing brightness over the comfort of hiding.

This wasn’t just a wardrobe change; it was an identity shift. A quiet return to the parts of myself I had never allowed to bloom.

Painting became the next chapter of that return.

Now, I create expressive, abstract floral paintings as a practice of healing. A way to reconnect with softness, with femininity, and with the parts of life that ask us to slow down and breathe. Every brushstroke is intuitive and imperfect, layered with emotion and movement. My art is not about getting it “right.” It’s about allowing, expressing, releasing, and blooming.

But these paintings aren’t only about me.

They’re also about you! And the kind of beauty you want to live with.

My work is created to hold space in your home:

to soften a room,

to bring calm where there’s been chaos,

to offer a daily moment of reflection or joy.

Bold, textured florals that honour the resilience of softness.

Landscapes that feel like a deep breath.

Colour that lifts you, even on the days you forget to lift yourself.

I believe art can be a form of self-care.

A grounding presence.

A reminder that beauty heals, and that you deserve joy in your everyday life.

If you’re ready to bring that energy into your world and to create a home that blooms with the same courage and softness you’re stepping into...

I’d love to share my collection with you.
