My New Painting Collection
I am so incredibly grateful, and deeply moved, to finally share my newest painting collection with you: From Shadows We Bloom.
This collection is unlike anything I have ever created. It wasn’t born from a sudden burst of inspiration, but rather from a profound, quiet period of personal healing.
Recently, I navigated a season where anxiety felt uncontrollable, and the shadows in my life felt overwhelming. Through doing the hard work of therapy and focusing on my emotional well-being, I began to find my way back to the light. But the truest part of my healing happened in the studio.

The Catalyst: The 100 Florals Project
Before these large canvases came to life, I started a personal challenge to gently guide myself back into a creative rhythm: the 100 Florals Project.
It began as a simple, daily commitment to just show up, mix some paint, and create.
However, right around the halfway mark (after completing my 50th floral), something entirely unexpected awakened inside of me. Reaching floral number 50 was a turning point. Through that repetition and dedication, I suddenly felt a profound surge of confidence in myself. I realised I was discovering my true artistic handwriting and solidifying my unique style.
The hesitation melted away. That daily practice gave me the exact boost of courage and motivation I needed to step away from smaller studies and launch into the expansive, emotionally charged larger pieces that make up this new collection.

The Canvas as a Sanctuary
Stepping up to those larger canvases became a physical necessity. Painting became my sanctuary. A safe space where I didn't have to mask my emotions or pretend to be anything I wasn't. I felt free in my studio. And this collection was born from that sense of freedom.
With every mix of paint and energetic motion of each brushstroke, I found myself shedding layers of expectation and fear. I wasn't painting to create something "pretty" or to please an audience. I was painting to survive, to process, and ultimately, to reconnect with my most authentic self.
Purging My Emotions into Art
From Shadows We Bloom is the visual diary of that transformation. It is raw, it is honest, and it is the closest I have ever come to putting my soul directly onto a canvas.
You will notice deeper, more turbulent textures in some of the pieces. These represent the heavy, confusing moments of anxiety... the necessary darkness where seeds are planted.
You will see bursts of vibrant colour and fluid, expansive motions. This is the emergence. It is the visual representation of finding peace, trusting my newly discovered artistic voice, and allowing my true self to finally breathe and grow.
When I look at these paintings, I don't just see colours and shapes; I see the exact moments I decided to trust myself again. I tapped into a well of intuition I didn't know I had, letting the emotion dictate my hands' movements.

What I Hope You Feel
My deepest hope for From Shadows We Bloom is that it resonates with your own journey. We all have our shadows. We all have seasons of quiet struggle and the need for profound healing.
When you stand in front of these pieces, I hope you feel the release that I felt while creating them. I hope you feel the resilience of the human spirit. Most importantly, I hope these paintings remind you that it is exactly from our darkest, most challenging spaces that our most beautiful, authentic selves can bloom.
Thank you for being here, and for allowing me to share this deeply personal chapter of my art with you.
